What is Micropigmentation

Micropigmentation is similar to traditional body tattooing, but it has a different technique and creates very different results. Like tattooing, it is the act of using pigment to create an image on the skin. A special machine made specifically for certain treatments has microneedles that are dipped into pigment and then implanted into the area you are covering. The pigment is made from natural components such as carbon to ensure a natural result.

This is used for Scalp Micropigmentation, Permanent Makeup, and Medical Cosmetics. Here at SMP Trendsetters Greater Toronto, we focus solely on Scalp micropigmentation, this is the leading hair loss solution worldwide due to the technique used.

With this type of technique, or sometimes called cosmetic tattooing, we are able to enhance peoples hairlines, create density and camouflage scarring, all while boosting your confidence.

Are you suffering from?

ALOPECIA

Alopecia can be unique to every individual. Scalp Micropigmentation can guarantee full coverage of any types of Alopecia, whether its Alopecia areata, Alopecia totalis or Alopecia traction. Our technique will cover and blend into pre existing hair.

HAIR TRANSPLANT

Scalp Micropigmentaion combined with hair transplants help to achieve full density. At SMP Trendsetters, we have assisted many clients who have undergone hair transplants that have not received their desired density.  We deposit pigments around the transplanted hair to give a fuller look. This procedure will not harm the implanted hair. We recommend a period of 9-12 months before getting our SMP treatment.

SCARS

Scalp Micropigmentation is great for disguising scars.  If you have had a scar from a head trauma surgery, FUT, or FUE hair transplant, SMP will give you full coverage. It is recommended to wait a minimum of 12 months for the scar tissue to be fully healed.
